The three principles of modern construction

Each epoch has unique architectural forms and materials that are used for the construction and decoration of buildings. What are the characteristics in our age? How is contemporary architecture? There are the three main principles of modern houses.



Principle 1: The minimalism in forms

Contemporary architecture is oriented to minimalist forms. The less ornaments and the simpler block, the house is more modern and simmilar to the model house in a modern style. The passion for simplicity of form led to geometric furniture, which is the basis of modern buildings.

 



Principle 2: Return to nature

Modern houses should blend into the environment. It involves the use of a building and finishing materials of natural substances. This is reflected in the use of wood and stone facades of houses and increasingly use of these materials as a building material of houses.



Principle3: Spatiality

 

The interiors of modern houses should be spacious and full of light. Therefore, the designers take into account modern houses plan large rooms, without doors, wich perfectly create open space inside of the building. Very frequent in modern projects are also large windows that fill the room with daylight.
